Install Wunderly

Wunderly counts visits with one line of code in the head of every page. It loads after your page, stores nothing on your visitors' devices, and needs no cookie banner.

The snippet

In Wunderly, open Install for your site. The snippet there has your site key in it already; copy it from there. It looks like this:

<script defer data-site="your-site-key" src="https://forms.usewunderly.com/w.js"></script>

Put it in the <head> of every page, or once in the layout every page shares. Your quote form and contact form don't need it to work, but with it each request shows the pages the person looked at first.

Where it goes

Seeing it work

On Install, press Check install, then open your site in another tab. Wunderly waits for the first visit and says so when it arrives, usually within a few seconds. Your main page fills in from there.

Nothing arriving? Make sure the snippet is on the published site, not only in an editor's preview, and that the address you gave your site in Wunderly is the one people visit. Visits from browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control aren't counted, by design, so try a browser without them.

What it sends

The page's address without its query string (except the utm tags), where the visitor came from (the site, not the page), and whether the screen is a phone, a tablet or a computer. It also notices taps on your phone number, email address and map links, and when one of your own forms is sent, without reading what's in it. Privacy on your site has the details, and How we count every definition.
