Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") sets out the content and conduct that are prohibited on the Service. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
Forms on the web are commonly misused for phishing, and crawlers for probing other people's websites. This Policy exists to keep Wunderly's forms safe to fill in and its checks safe for every website they read, and applies to every form, request, message and check made through the Service.
1. Prohibited Data Collection
You may not use the Service to request or collect:
- passwords, PINs or login credentials for any account;
- payment card numbers or bank account credentials (Wunderly does not process payments); or
- government identification numbers, including social security, national insurance, passport and driver's license numbers.
2. Deceptive Practices
You may not:
- impersonate another business, a bank, a government body or any other person or entity;
- publish fake giveaways, or forms that conceal their purpose; or
- display an estimate you do not intend to honor. Estimates must be presented as estimates.
3. Unsolicited Communications
You may not use email addresses or phone numbers collected through your forms to send messages the people who gave them did not request, or in breach of the anti-spam laws that apply to you.
4. Websites, the Analytics Script and the Checks
You may not:
- install the analytics script on, or add to the Service, a website you do not own or control;
- use the Service to collect information from visitors beyond what it is designed to collect, or to identify individual visitors;
- use the free site check, or any other part of the Service, to probe, load-test or attack a website, to reach pages that are not public, or to read a website whose owner has not allowed it; or
- circumvent the Service's limits, spam checks or security measures, or automate requests to it.
5. Unlawful and Harmful Content
You may not use the Service to publish or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing or hateful, or that links to malware, whether in a form or in its responses.
6. Monitoring and Detection
- Every form is checked when it is published for questions requesting passwords or card numbers. Such a form is paused before anyone fills it in, and its owner is notified of the reason by email.
- Requests to the forms and to the free site check are limited per network address, and each is checked for spam.
- Everything else we review is reported to us; a person reads every report.
7. Reporting Violations
- Anyone may report a form, through the "Report this form" link on every form, by writing to abuse@usewunderly.com, or with the report form.
- We review every report within one day.
- Where people may be at risk, we pause the form immediately while we investigate. Requests already sent are retained.
8. Enforcement
We notify the customer of what was reported and why the form was paused. A form that violates this Policy remains paused. If an account repeatedly violates this Policy, we may suspend it: its forms are paused and none can go live, but its owner can still sign in and export their data. If violations continue, we may close the account.
9. Appeals
If you believe we paused your form or suspended your account in error, reply to the email we sent or write to support@usewunderly.com. A person reviews every appeal within one day. If the form complies with this Policy, it is restored at the same link, and the same check will not pause it again.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above and the changelog reflect the most recent revision.
